So I had my mid-sem exams in the first week of August and was the one of the seven students in my class who cleared all the six subjects.. i.e rest 53 failed either in one or more subjects…

We were told of some things happening with the academic department as a whole and the changes would be reflected soon.. the beginning of this was the leaflet we received in the beginning of July stating how the Sessional Marks will be awarded.. and now the attendance percentage per subject is being mailed to students parents.. mine arrived yesterday.. even before I landed home! :p

Mummy and my maternal uncle were happy with the teacher quoting as me to be an Active student in the class.. [i.e I don't sleep during class, bunk lectures etc...] but the overall thing was that I was kept in the category of Fair Students.. i.e below Good and above Poor.. kinda average you might say…

Now.. I was told that two of the assignments that I submitted for Solid State Devices and Network Analysis and Synthesis were shown to the HOD as being the best of the lot.. so quite a paradox to the things mentioned above…

Mum was kinda cross with m… but the thing is that they didn’t put anyone in the category of Good students as everyone has their share of being indiscipline in some way or the other… even the toppers of my class were remarked as being Fair…

The thing that stood out was that everyone of the Dept. thought of me as being active student and am thankful for that… After a week our classes will be over and we will be having a month long preparation leave.. will come home for studying and am planning to achieve Honours grade this semester too!
