Was checking out Christian Downloads forum when I came across a new album of Hillsong United. Opened up the Hillsong Music site and was surprised to find a Next Gen EP called In A Valley By The Sea.

Here is what ugjonathan has to say who worships @ Hillsong Church and participates in the Album recording..
This project was recorded live at Summercamp last January…. The new vocalists are Braden Lang (I think?) and Matty Crocker…. My buddy Hoody on guitar.. Jad’s brother on drums… They’re basically the younger band… Involved with Fuel and Wildlife (Hillsong youth ministry for grades 6 to 12)… Break Free and To Know Your Name are on this album cuz they were written by these guys… And when it was recorded, we had only sung Break Free once at Hillsong, and it was at Encounterfest last year.. It wasn’t as overplayed as it is now (like… I won’t even listen to it when it comes out.. I went into studio to do vocal overdubs and we had to sing it like 10 times… On top of singing it every weekend in church for the lsat 6 months… slight exageration, but almost true.)……. But seriously, the 5 other new songs will blow your mind. They are amazing. Really fresh sound and raw honest lyrics.
And yes, live recording this week at Encounterfest with Joel, JD and the “regular” crew… Don’t know what the plans are though… Cuz “The I Heart Revolution” releases next year, so I don’t know if they’ll release a normal United album?……. Especially with this one coming out now……
Anyways….. We’ll have to wait and see!
