Updates…. re’ me and computer

So.. last week my home pc was affected by Storage Protector.

StorageProtector is a fake Windows antispyware and registry tools that may display exaggerated reports about a present threat on the computer and advise the user to purchase a registered version to remove it.

I tried all the measures to remove it from the computer, but wasn’t able to do so. So I asked my big brother to re-install Xp. While in the process, we selected C drive to be formatted. But unfortunately for us, the hdd had gone into raw mode, which meant the WHOLE hdd was formatted. That means I lost my 80+ GB worth of music and 40GB something of videos… none of the data was recoverable..

Now we have installed Xp and Vista and plan to install Ubuntu..

am not much sorry for my music/ videos stuff as almost all of it was downloaded from the net. So will get it all back again… and for now am checking out tutorials for transferring stuff from iPod to Computer.

Last week we also bought a HP Deskjet D2460 Printer. It still hasn’t been unboxed.. will open it in the night to printout my syllabus

Bro bought a NVIDIA GeForce 7100 Graphic Card [128 MB DDR2] and a Frontech Analog Gaming Pad (for playing Cricket ‘07)

That was regarding my computer… and now updates about me.. am studying well.. got good grades in the tests and assignments. Have filled up the re-evaluation form and am hoping to get good marks and clear this sem too..

Lil Alicia is going to be 3 months old tomorrow… is growing well thru’ God’s Grace.

FM radio is not available in Rajnandgaon But I love listening to Radio Mirchi whenever am home… as of now Rangila FM has also started with its test signals… check my previous post for the frequency.
