It was Feb 13th evening and I was lying in my bed in the hostel and checking mails in my phone thru’ the Gmail Application.. I saw a mail from a friend Shekhar, sending a screenshot as an attachment and the subject said your photo’s on Y! OurCity. On checking out the small pic that opened in my phone, I immediately jumped out of bed and went downstairs to seek permission from the warden to use her computer. On her nod I fired up Google and searched for Yahoo! Our City. Went to the site and clicked on Raipur city link. Was amazed to see photos of me, mom there… The photos featured there were from Flickr and had a Raipur tag and were thus featured in the home page.

Yeah its that day of the year again when you get 1 year older :))

Its my birthday!! Last year was good for me. The Lord has been very gracious, merciful and kind to me.. hoping to receive many more blessings and be a blessing to people who know me too..

From this year am striving hard to meet the expectations set by these verse from Proverbs.

No this post isn’t about Paul Baloche’s album. Its about the incident that happend with me and mamu (my maternal uncle). He had volunteered to take me to Rajnandgaon last week, as Anu Bhaiya was to leave for Saugar in the evening. We started from Raipur at around 8am and at 9:30am we reached the road where the NH-6 and Durg Bypass road become one just before entering Rajnandgaon..

Now.. the driver was driving at a steady speed, not too fast. But just as we reached the point mentioned above a Police Truck which does Highway Patroling which was riding infront of us turned suddenly. Kudos to our driver who showed such intelligence and made the car come to stop.

If if had not had been the case the three of us would have had been badly injured or dead by now too..

The first thing I did when we made our escape was to thank God. Because we were saved by His Grace and Mercy only.

When we started driving again I was reminded of Carrie Underwood’s song, Jesus Take The Wheel..

The words can be so very true sometimes..

Also thanked my elder brother.. He prays for me almost everytime when am leaving for Rajnandgaon and doesn’t forget to apply Jesus’s blood on us and also the vehicle, because there is Power, Power, Wonder working Power in the Blood of the Lamb.

Signing off now.. have to study for my mid-sem exams that are scheduled to take place from 11-13 February, 08.
