Dell Sales Executives called me yesterday and also sent in the quotations and all.

He asked me where I would like the laptop to be delivered. And I was like, Raipur.. where else?Now the problem is that the Chhattisgarh Govt. hasn’t approved for VAT and all taxes.. that means I’ll have to get a Authorization Letter signed and stamped by the Sales Tax Authorities @ Raipur. So he suggested me to get it delivered in Madhya Pradesh or some other states.

Now my options were getting it delivered @ my sister’s place in Saugar. And then they can tug along the box for me when they come to Raipur on 21st of this month. Or better still get it delivered in New Delhi @ badi mummy’s place and then either she would bring it here in her next visit or courier it to me (would cost around 2k)

So the best option would be to get the Sales Tax formality completed.. We know some people there so can hope of obtaining it soon.

Next mission: To get the letter signed and prepare the DD, will get it done in the next couple of days..

Eversince I got admitted to college and came to know that I would be staying in the hostel I was dreaming about owning a laptop. Being addicted to my computer and the internet I always thought how I’d be able to cope with not having it in my room.

But after convincing my mom that I desperately need one because of the presentation work and the computer re’ subjects we would be studying the coming semesters, I started looking for the perfect laptop for me.

I tried on a couple of laptops here and there.. but my eyes were set on Dell Inspiron. Cause my elder brother bought it for himself when he visited US few years back. I loved its simplicity, keyboard and all..

But my brother was against buying a Dell from here simply because of the costs.. He suggested me Acer, HCL and all the other brands.. After checking them out I was pretty much sure to go for a Dell.

Now.. bhaiya owns a 1420. The screen size may suite him but it looked small to me, so I am opting for 1525.

I have already configured it and am awaiting the call from the Sales Representative.. Will most probably be ordering it this week..

psst: btw am back home. Will be attending the Training @ BSNL from tomorrow and after that its summer vacations baby!
