Roommate.. eh? Ex-roommate…
Yesterday I was talking with mam, the faculty who teaches us Electromagnetic Waves & Antenna as I was not able to understand some stuff in it and sought her help.
At that time some faculty sirs walked into the lab we were in and took their seats in the other table. They asked us if we had got the practical files checked or not and all…
Then the Faculty who took our Simulation Lab asked me if my name was Grace and I said yes. Then he said that my roommate had come to get her copy checked a while ago.. I was quick to correct him that it was ex-roomie, as my present roommate is a Super Junior. He went on to say that my ex-r told him that my copy was not fully complete and that I had written down the matter from her file and.. I got A++ grade where as she got B+, he told me he wanted to see my file..
As I was busy that time I told him I’d show him the file after a few mins.. A few mins passed by and then I went to the other lab to retrieve the file and showed it to him. He remembered quite well that what I had written was the best record of the whole semester and no one deserved the grade more than me. He also said that my writing was good and that I was graded well because of the computer efficiency too 
Whereas my ex has the worst handwriting ever, her records were not complete, graphs not plotted etc…
I was so thankful to him but couldn’t keep myself feeling sorry for my ex-roomie for her “bitchy” behaviour. May God grant her the wisdom to check herself before speaking ill for others…
Hmm yeah! Some people are like that. I used to have a friend “Vaibhav” and we used to study together after results came I got the highest marks in maths (more then him) in class and he was like “Yeah, I taught him maths…I taught him maths…”. And that became reason of our turning our friendship into rivalry.
Though I am not soo much noble to feel sorry… (seems you are..).
Well.. am not being noble and all.. just felt sorry for her cos of her behaviour eventhough she lived with me for 2 yrs..
i have two friends, one who studied hard and the other who copied the entire answer paper word-for-word from him. strangely enough, the friend who copied got 1 mark more in each paper.
oh and they’re still best friends. that’s how it should be, really

I always thought of the “said” gal as a friend.. not “best friend” cos am very choosy in that category. But what I realized in the end was that, she thought of me as a mere “roomie” and nothing else..
I gave her my assignment copies so that she could jot them down… and she thought as a roomie it was “my duty” to hand her down the assignments which take real pain in writing down for the very first time…
ha ha this bitchy-ness is must experience..
we’ll find such people on every turn of our life and not just college.. guess we should learn how to tackle them and not make them be hurdle in our progress…
