13th of this month was my last sessional viva, seniors & juniors had exams that day so bus came early to pick us. Now, the breakfast came late that morning and that is why I kept my mug near the kitchen sink saying that I’ll collect it in the evening.

The evening came and I went to kitchen to get my dose of evening chai, but was surprised to not find my mug there. Now this mug is special. Its a verse mug that uncle bought when he visited Mumbai few years back.

mug

Asked the maid about it and she said that she saw the mug earlier but she didn’t knew who nicked it from the kitchen. Asked a couple of juniors about it and got the same reply. I had a bad experience of asking about stolen stuff @ hostel, so thought of letting it go..

The maid used to ask me about it everyday and I used to say I wonder who stole it.. who would want a verse mug except me and Rajni. Rajni is not one of the girls who would steal and when this incident took place she wasn’t even at hostel.
The maid would look for it at every room while she cleaned them everyday though..

One day a thought came into my mind that someone must have dropped it and cos its broken down am unable to find it.

Then mysteriously just as it was stolen, it found its way back to me. Found it at the place where I had kept it, one week later though… Now as you can see from the photo, someone used it for making curd/ drinking milk.

When I showed this to the maid, she asked me to show the backside of the mug and instantly realised seeing it at a juniors room.

So I carried out a “Who stole my mug” interrogation that evening and that very gal said, Sorry mam, I didn’t knew it was your mug! ha.. that must have been a joke. I was very much pissed off earlier but then dunno what came into me and I asked her if she needed a mug (I always have some in spare as am a chai addict). She was and so I gifted a mug to her :)

Have now started calling it as prodigal mug :P Cos it was “once lost, but now is found” :D

Its been a while since I’ve had a ‘flaunt value’ gadget :P I still have the Inspiron 1525 and its working great. But this post isn’t about Blossom, its about the shiny new phone I acquired recently, Nokia N82. It turns one month old today, so here’s a blogpost dedicated to it :)

N82 Black

I was using N72 prior to this but its memory card reader stopped working few months back and without it the phone was rendered rather useless.. Then a few days back the pop port stopped working and it was a sign from God that I needed a new phone :D

So thanks to mom, bro and sis I am a proud owner of N82. Had wanted it ever since it was launched.

The transition from N72 to N82 was easy, though had to check back some things on the owners manual as Nokia has re-arranged the menu’s. Have been a smartphone user since the good ‘ol Nokia 6600 days and must say that Nokia has put on heaps of work on the usability factor and all. Was initially skeptical about the keypad, as many people (on twitter) said that the keypad was cumbersome to use. Had tried it earlier as a senior @ hostel owned one till a few months back. Thought I still haven’t come across any problem with typing, my typing speed has also increased considerably.

The Box   The Box   Phone, inside the box   The phone, N82

Now many people have asked me why I bought an N82 and the answer is simple.. after having used Nokia 6600, N72 I’d be a fool if I didn’t get another symbian phone. But that’s not the right answer :P My iPod got stolen when we moved to the new hostel and then after a few days the N72 started showing errors. And I’ve always wanted a nice digital camera, so when we multiplex the 3 we get a N82 :D Ohh and GPS is an added advantage :D

The exams are about to start from next week. And I been putting up a lot of effort :) But all studies and no music makes Grace boring :P

So here’s the anthem that I’ve been hooked to these days. Its Movin’ by Group 1 Crew from their album, Ordinary Dreamers.

On your mark, get set, here we go
Time to make your future unfold
And put aside what’s killing growth
You know what’s best for ya so let’s go
Holla back if you really feel me
Holla back now if you are with me
No time to waste the clock is tickin’
Enough wishin the wells out of commission
It ain’t no superstition
No need to make your prediction
Your destiny is in your possession
How bad u want it is the question

(Chorus)
If you really wanna move you got to get movin’(movin,
movin), got to get movin’, nothin left to do except to just do it (do it, do it), got to just do it., if you want it want it go and go and get it get it, you don’t have to wait anymore I can hear him calling, step through the door, where anything is possible

(Post Chorus)
We’re on a mission a mission to bring you what you’re missing no superstition this vision has intuition

I get, irate take the whole cake when, you hate I levitate then, migrate to a mind state when, he appropriates a new faith hey we came just to change the whole game and we aim to maintain the one name that, you’ve heard whispered among listeners hit nerves that ba ba burn like perm fixtures yes sir, I’m about to paint a picture to get yer mind around divine elixirs sisters, and gentleman alike there’s a brand new dance tonight now get it hype

(Bridge)
We’re going live on the mic tonight in the studio, speaking truth and life into your stereo

(Outro)
You don’t have to wait anymore its all yours for sure, let your faith walk it out now, walk it out now

Prayers and wishes would be definitely appreciated :)

Shalom!

Received these few days back and couldn’t stop myself from posting them @ the blog.

Study in PL -

10: breakfast
11: thinking 2 score 70s
Then afternoon lunch, nap and evening tea.
Thinking of scoring 40s
After dinner: now thinking, Hey Bhagwan, bas 28 dila do!

Na waqt hai itna ki syllabus pura kiya jaaye. Na tarkib hai koi ki exam paas kiya jaaye. Na jane kaun sa dard diya hai college valo ne. Na roya jaaye na soya jaaye.
