Not Ur Average Girl

So What I’m Not Your Average Girl

Don’t speak out your heart’s desire

September14

The incident I am blogging about took place day before yesterday i.e on Friday. We were told on Thursday that the old time table would be followed now and that the new one was scrapped as the teachers grew tired of teaching.

The old time table had the first two periods as LIC aka Linear Integrated Circuits. And a certain [pathetic] sir takes it. Now that day happened to be birthday of a classmate of mine and as soon as he entered the classroom everyone rushed to wish him and people started shouting, whistling etc..

Just then the teacher made its entry into the classroom. We all rushed to our places, wished him morning and as a ritual took our seats even before the teacher had told us to sit down. This act of ours angered him and he started yelling at us. He made us stand as a punishment for not conducting well in the classroom. There were murmurs of disagreement as we knew that the person was very well capable of making us stand throughout his 2 lectures, that is 1:30 hrs. He went on to say that if he saw someone talking, he would send him/her out of the classroom.

I was in no mood to write that day as I had to complete some assignments, and being told to stand and write was a perfect excuse of not noting down any notes, circuit diagrams etc

Hearing this, I told my dear friends who stood near me, that lets talk and he would send us out of the classroom.

Anyway’s he started teaching and then told us to draw a circuit. I was drawing it and answered a sneer comment by Kriti. He caught me looking sideways and said, Grace Priya leave the class.. and I was like shocked.. he then asked with whom I was taking and I said no one… He told me self murmuring was not allowed and thus sent me out of the class…

Well.. it was the 1st time ever in my whole college life that I was sent out of the class.. I got out of my place and started walking towards the door.. glared at my friends and then out I went…

Thank God some of my friends came out to join me as they were unable to hold their tongues for such a long time and that to while standing…

So all of this was written just to tell my valuable readers never to speak out loud our heart’s desires… cos the strange ones, like mine here are bound to come up true..

Take care and be blessed!

On being busy

September14

Ever since I moved to Mobile Office, I thought I would get more time to blog and all.. but I was mistaken as the speed is not that great and also I have been keeping busy with studies and all.

First of all the huge assignments we are assigned for this semester. I am having a trouble time coping up with the studies and the tests too.. I think I have just scraped through them.

Now the big thing.. the vocational training presentation which is scheduled to take place tomorrow and day after tomorrow.. preparing sildes and presentations is just a piece of cake but the effort that goes into it is highly demanding when my partners in crime aren’t helping me much.

Thank God I bought the laptop at the right time, otherwise I would have to head home to prepare them or beg one of my classmates to lend me their laptops..

Anyways.. the presentation is ready, though I might add a slide or two just for the go. Please pray for me and my partners, that we speak well and are able to explain each and everything properly and the most importatnt thing… are able to give proper answers to all the cross-questioning that is going to take place.

The topics we would be speaking on are EWSD-TAX and CDMA. Hoping that everything goes on well.

The Shifting Chronicles

July22

On 26th June we the seniors aka 3rd yr gals availing the hostel facility were called in the management room and told that our hostel was going to be shifted on Sunday.

Me and roomie were kinda sad cos that meant we wouldn’t be able to spend the weekend @ home. Anyways the day ended with all of us starting with the packing process.

Next day after the college ended we were informed that the college will remain close on Saturday because the AICTE inspection team were to re-inspect the new college @ Bhilai – 3.

That initially meant that the whole weekend would go as a waste for us [me n roomie]

Anyways we did all our packing on Saturday, slept a lot and ate lots too.. The warden had instructed the servants to prepare special dish for us, a farewell you can say. The plain kadhi tasted good.

Now we slept pretty late thinking that this was our last night at that hostel and tomorrow we would be shifted to a totally new place, we were sad that we would be leaving the exclusivity of the room that we had.. we were the few special ones who resided in rooms that had balconies :D

I woke up pretty early on Sunday morning, did the chores before my roomie woke up and then read scriptures. Thanked God for the blessings the place had been to me for the past 2 years of my life.

Then finished with what was left and then waited on for the Hostel In-charge to arrive or call. In the meanwhile my roomie woke up and got busy with her packing and all. After she bathed she told me why are you still in your tee and Capri, better get dressed and wait for bhaiya to arrive. I told her that we will get dressed after the people arrive to shift us. Can’t believe that it was that the best decision that I took that day. Why?? Because no one came to shift us that day and we were stuck up there for a day again?
