It sure does. Big Time!

As per the university norms, the 4th semester students have to undergo technical/industrial training of 40 days or 6 weeks. I completed the first 15 days @ BSNL Fafadih exchange, learning about EWSD TAX department. To take the next set of training some of the guys visited MY FM Radio Station which is near Kachahri Chowk. The Person in charage there, said that they could provide us with 30 days certificate.

Now we entered the Station today and were made to sit in their conference room for almost 2 hours, after that the PiC came and asked us how many people were considering doing training there and what all were our expectations..

We answered to the point that, we where there just for the Certificates and nothing else. Because this Certificate along with the Report and Presentation carries 40 marks which will be added up in the 5th semester exams.

Just posted to let you peeps know that FM channels have started in Raipur too!!

Radio Mirchi & MY FM started their operations 1-2 day back…

It’s still early to comment/review on the services.. but the initial listening suggests that Radio Mirchi has won the race even before MY FM started running..

anyways you can tune into the following channels currently
Radio Mirchi - 98.3 MHz
MY FM - 94.3 MHz
Akash Vani - 101.6 MHz
Rangila FM - 104.8 MHz
Gyan Vani - 105.6 MHz

edit [19/1/08] Rangila FM (104.8 FM) has started it seems..

[psst: was checking out wikipedia, and it says that Big FM, Red FM & Radio City will soon be starting in Raipur too!]
